I have just seen the Microsoft’s E3 press conference , and it was pretty underwhelming, almost nothing really new was announced we all knew Gears of War, Fable III, Halo: Reach and Call of Duty: Black Ops were coming.
We knew nothing about Metal Gear Solid Rising, making it  not only the only new Game revealed properly, but also together with the New Xbox 360 Slim the only highlight of the show.
Kinect, how Project Natal is called now, was presented as a shameless Wii rip-off, except for the new “Minority Report Style” Xbox Dashboard controlls. ESPN is coming to Xbox Live, though only in USA, so for me it stays uninteresting, until Microsoft presents something similar in Germany as well. The 360 Slim was revealed as well, which is smaller than a regular 360 has a built in power supply and a redesigned 250GB Harddrive.

And this is pretty much it about the underwhelming Microsoft event, I hope Sony and Nintendo will use this chance to impress the gamers with some new and exciting franchises or new hardware.  Stay tuned for tommorrows cover on the press conferences by Nintendo and Sony.
For those who won’t be able to watch both press conferences, there will be a Live Ticker.

Here are some videos of the new announcements:
